i added soft wood soles to the robot lock box and one peice of tin encaseing and called it a day

added the doors to the robot lock box
after getting some hinges and a lock clasp at the store i finally mounted the doors and painted them
looks like she will have a place for hospitle paperwork and some pens thats
sponge bob looking and i was almost tempted to make it look more like bender or a darlic
but its still a cabinet so i went square

hardly did squat on the robot lock box update
the black paint was dry so i added a piece of metal to the heel of one of his feet and thats it
but other than doing diddley squat on it i had quite a buisey day

robot lock box painted black
the continueing saga of robot lock box im makeing ...today he gets some color as the rest of her furnature is black i added a 99 cent can of black gloss enamel and another arm ..the feet are heavy wood like oak and they will be coated with tin and big robot screws ...still a lot of work to do on him and much more paint ...below is a stack of pics from todays bot work ..click the pics to see em bigger

i reienforced the right side and started coating his leg with metal added an arm to sturdy up the side and add astedic value

i added some cheeks to his head
and above the light bulb i put a mohawk heat desperser you gotta click the pic a few times to see it well
i guess the fronts gonna have to be on a hinge to change the light bulb every so often

getting a head with the robot lock box
i had finished the lightup eyes on the head attached a plywood back still a lot of stuff to build ahaed
and now that hes got a head with light up eyes hes looking more bot like than ever

the lock box project continues
today i was able to work on the lock bot project
put in an oak top with 26 gauge g90 paintgrip galv and the back of the head that will serve as a mini shelf lamp thingie
so i show her the pic and she said she wanted a lock box ..doh
but the robot shape looks like sponge bob so she likes it and thinks its cool
in a few days i will continue this robot shaped box and do another update
